I’m convinced William Shatner despises autistic people … | #KindnessCounts

I’m convinced William Shatner despises autistic people and only supports autism speaks to get a reaction out of us. This is beyond weird. Who supports a org. centered around a disability and then maligns those with said disability? Who exactly is he supporting? Lol8:46 PM · Feb 26, 2020·Twitter for iPhone

Shat appears to be using the 💩 script to dismiss. He wouldn’t dare 💩 script w other marginalized groups but has some points like below & many Autistics feel excluded too. It’s his right to direct his $ to research or on 🔥 but 💩to dismiss our right to equitably shape research.

This doesn’t excuse A$ or make them comparable on every level but considering the facts should extend to all non-profits.
It’s especially questionable when said org is creating info sheets & aligned w orgs & or excluding the very people they claim to represent.

I live in the idea that he is autistic and hiding it because he is ashamed of it. The only contact with anything autism based has been autism speaks. He has took their word as gospel and fights everyone else. Loyalty, extreme black and white thinking, no flexibility of thought.

I think so too and that this is his way of distancing himself from it.

I think that means for us that lashing out at him only gives him the reaction he wants.

He’d probably be more pissed if we told him he was welcome to use the tag. Lol

I don’t think so, the rich and powerful in America are pervasive in their influence

Rockefellers, Harrimans and others were the ones who originally funded eugenics programs in the early 19th century through the Carnegie Institute

I don’t think intents are important but effects

He is very unskilled actor who is only famous because of Gene Roddenberry’s genius and the Star Trek franchise. He’s a nobody who thinks he’s somebody. He can keep sucking his own teeth. Face with rolling eyes

Think of him in this scene when you see his bollocks on Twitter. Upside-down face
Wrath of Kahn for Goats
The original was on Family Guy, but this version is a little longer and captures the pathos of the scene much better for both Star Trek and goat fans.

It makes more sense when you take into account the fact that Autism Speaks also despises autistic people.
